Sea of Galilee in the North and the Dead Sea in the South - both fed by the Jordan RiverSea of Galilee in the North and the Dead Sea in the South - both fed by the Jordan River

As much as I have studied the word of God and looked on maps I am always learning something new.

What do you know about the sea of Galilee?

What do you know about the Dead Sea?

Both are land locked within Israel.

Both are fed by a river called the Jordan River.

Some differences:

Sea of Galilee is a freshwater sea and is filled with life.

Dead Sea is a saltwater sea and has no life.

Sea of Galilee lets the Jordan River flow out of the south end.

Dead Sea receives in, but does not flow out.

A Point

Because there is always a point!

Is your day full of activity and life like the Sea of Galilee?  Or are you looking at lifeless activity like the Dead Sea?

John 7:38

"'Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

God Bless
